Privacy Policy

MeToon turns moments and authorized reference images into comic episodes. This policy explains the data processed to provide that service.
Data we process
We may process account and profile details; text, photos, and settings you choose; ToonDNA references; generated panels; comments, likes, follows, and collaboration actions; reports; purchase- and rewarded-ad-verification records; ad privacy choices; Play Integrity results; and limited security, diagnostic, or error logs.
Face and photo data
Reference photos are used only to complete the ToonDNA or episode creation you start, perform safety checks, and preserve character consistency. Temporary episode uploads are deleted after completion or a failed-job refund. ToonDNA references remain private until you delete the character or account.
Optional rewarded ads
Only a user on the Free plan can choose to request a rewarded ad for +1 Sparks; an ad never opens automatically. Sparks are credited by the server only after Google's server-side verification succeeds. Plus and Studio plans make no ad requests. Ads do not interrupt creation, error recovery, or reading. Verification may retain intent and transaction IDs, the outcome, timestamps, and a one-way digest of the verification request; the MeToon application record stores the digest instead of the raw signature or raw verification query. Infrastructure security logs may be retained only as needed for security and fraud prevention.
Ad data and consent
Subject to applicable law and the user's consent choices, Google LLC's Google Mobile Ads/AdMob service and its ad technology partners may process and share IP address and general location inferred from it, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads may be served depending on region and choices; non-personalized ads may still use identifiers for frequency capping and aggregated reporting. Google User Messaging Platform collects choices where applicable, and eligible choices can be reopened through Privacy options in the app. MeToon does not sell personal data for monetary consideration; the advertising-related sharing described here is separate, and MeToon remains responsible for its integration.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and backend functions; Cloudflare Workers AI provides story, image, and safety processing; Google Play provides purchase and Play Integrity verification; and Google Mobile Ads/AdMob and the User Messaging Platform provide the optional rewarded ad and ad privacy choices. Secret provider keys never ship in the Android app.
Sharing and community
Drafts are private. An episode becomes public only when its owner chooses Publish. Published content may be viewed, reported, remixed, or removed under the community rules. Character-likeness permissions can be revoked.
Security and retention
Private content is protected by row-level and storage access rules, and data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Account content is retained while the account is active. Limited legal, purchase, security, and fraud-prevention records may be kept only as long as required.
Your choices
You can change profile visibility, revoke character permissions, block users, unpublish content, reopen eligible ad choices through Privacy options in the app, and permanently delete your account in the app or through the external account deletion page.

The developer and data controller is ZenovaApps. Use the verified developer email link below for privacy enquiries. Reward-verification records are retained while required for security, disputes, and fraud prevention; terminal ad-intent records are retained for no more than 90 days.
